I really really really wanted to fall in love with this book! It started off super interesting. I needed to know what was going to happen. But then I kept going and nothing... thrilling... was happening. At 30% in, I still didn't know why this was being billed as a romantic thriller. I also found it to keep going in circles with Nicole's feelings towards being "restored." It got too repetitive for my taste. I also found this book to be extremely wordy, which isn't a bad thing, but some parts seemed to be fluff to me. I can see why people are loving it, but it just wasn't the book for me. Overall, the writing was fantastic and sophisticated. The dialogue was great. The story itself just ended up not being by cup of tea, and that's ok.
