A quick, short, fantasy/Sci Fi read. I loved the way this was written. I was also happy that the FMC got to have her own story and show her strength without having a love interest. I was a little nervous about there being a gross age gap (of the ancient kind) romance in this, but was happily proven wrong. If you look at my book history and see all the Smutty romance novels, that statement might seem a bit out of place. However, some stories do not need the romance and this was one of them. The plot line kept my attention and I loved the characters.
