Good start, was hoping for darker though

Pretty good start to a series.

I picked it up for the dark romance aspect, and it delivers at the beginning but this is resolved fairly quickly. I started forcing my attention back after that hence the 3 stars.

I did appreciate Loren’s candidness with certain things, especially in his mind. He and I have some of the same thoughts and straightforwardness and it was nice to see that represented even though we definitely don’t share a diagnosis lol.
