Absolutely phenomenal
5 phenomenal stars!!!
10/10 DO RECOMMEND!
I LOVED SO MUCH ABOUT THIS BOOK!!!
As a Social Worker, founding board member of a nonprofit, and a psychosocial rehabilitation group facilitator, I am so impressed with everything that encompasses Omegas Haven.
This might be one of the absolute best representations of a trauma informed agency and what it takes to start and run a nonprofit that I have EVER READ in a fiction book EVER!!! representations truly matters and it means so much to see how much planning and thought went into this book.
I've thought for a while how that being an Omega seems to be very similar to being neurodivergent and this book solidified that theory for me. I swear it was like reading an extremely accurate representation of a woman with ADHD. Aside from the slick and other omegaverse elements, this very well could've been an ADHD rep book. The super structured day, getting to busy you forget to eat or any other bodily function, empath/emotional sensitivity, needing things a particular way or having a system that makes sense to you and other Neurodivergent people but not Neurotypical people, the increased arousal/libido, etc. It was really refreshing to read.
This book had me in my feels soooo many times and I absolutely loved every single minute of it! Talk about messing me up emotionally!!!
A phenomenal choice for my first read by this author. I am 100% now going to obsess over your backlist now.
