Longbourn is a retelling of Pride and Prejudice from the perspective of the servants, but it’s an independent story in its own right too. Jo Baker brings the setting alive vividly, exposing aspects of the original story that were glossed over. I absolutely loved reading this as everything from the concept to the details of the execution work brilliantly - a well-made movie adaptation would be a dream!
