A balanced romance with even portions of sweetness, smut, and angst that centers around a young injured football star and the new connection he makes with his friend’s father. It has friends to lovers, double gfy, and a 21 year age gap.

My main reason for not giving this five stars is because of how quick the mcs accept their attraction to one another despite being two men who both identified as straight before their relationship. It felt unsatisfying and was unrealistic af.

Even though that aspect of the book was disappointing, I still enjoyed them as a couple and do recommend picking this up
