I am a huge Junji Ito fan and love (and have) most of his stories.
Soichi was always an interesting side character that, in my opinion, was more annoying and exhausting rather than scary as a character.
This anthology of short stories was...okay. I think there were a few that were great and I definitely wanted to go more in depth with some, especially the one about his grandmother and his grandfather building him his coffin. Those stories were top tier! Overall though, I don't think Soichi was a solid and interesting enough character to warrant a whole anthology dedicated to him.
3/5 but the author Junji Ito 10/10
