Overall I'm still a fan of the series, but this one left me feeling unsatisfied. While the wait for this book was insanely long, I can't say it was worth it. Overall, it was slow-paced until right at the end. The editing oversights were too many for my liking, and some of the character's personality make up felt wrong. I fear I have suffered mental whiplash after this one.

Enemies to lovers (but like, why?), age-gap, borderline forbidden romance. One less trope and I think this would have been a much better story. Doing too much with too many things makes things messy.
