"You're not a mistake, Grace. You're the best thing that's ever happened to me!" πŸ’œ

This book navigated the well-loved "bad boy/good girl" trope, but with a depth that truly surprised me. Logan, initially the quintessential party animal, revealed layers of vulnerability as his past unfolded. The raw, unflinching portrayal of his father's alcoholism wasn't just a plot device; it was a heart-wrenching exploration of how past trauma shapes present actions.  Grace, far from being a passive "good girl," was a force of quiet strength. Her unwavering determination and gentle understanding provided the perfect counterpoint to Logan's chaotic energy. And the chemistry? Electric. The way their relationship developed, allowing it to blossom amidst the pressures of college life and personal demons, was nothing short of captivating.

Of course, the hockey romance element was a major draw.  I love a hockey romance, it's up there in my top book tropes πŸ’. I also loved the integration of the Off-Campus world. Seeing characters from "The Deal" weave into Logan and Grace's story felt like catching up with cherished friends. This book wasn't just a romance; it was a journey of healing, forgiveness, and the power of love to transform.  Knowing Dean's story is next, I'm already counting down the minutes. This series has me utterly hooked!!
