the pen was on FIRE for this one omg. i need to read the rest of lauren asher’s books immediately. something about single dad/nanny romance gets me every time, i can’t help it. i loved ellie and rafael’s relationship so much, and i loved how nico fit into everything. he was so charismatic and it’s very rare i love a child character so much. lauren asher toed the line PERFECTLY of keeping him a kid but without making him immature. loved it.
