Well done, I was thoroughly entertained!! This was a very awesome debut novel from the author, and I flew through it. The world building was so fun, and I found myself being fully immersed in the story, flipping the pages without realizing the passing time.

I loved Sorcha, the positive representation with her body AND her age was great to see. You don't often find a 30 year old, voluptuous princess who can fully hold her own as a MC. She has diverse characters overall and nice representation! I do wish that we could have learned more about King Achill and his magic, but because of how the story was told I think it wouldn't have been easily done. Conall is yummy and the fae Shifter we all want. *drool*
"𝐇𝐮𝐡. 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭'𝐬 𝐚 𝐟𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐤."
𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐜𝐡𝐮𝐜𝐤𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧. "𝐍𝐨, 𝐒𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐚. 𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐜."
I would say this book is on the mild side of dark, and not super spicy. But when we do get spice, the author delivers! Was this story fun? Damn right it was. It gave me all the things I want in an adult fantasy romance! The twists are great. I did NOT see that coming and i admit to being a bit confused on timing until the end. Don't worry, it will make sense.
