The Queer Principles of Kit Webb by Cat Sebastian
4.0
These characters act so inconvenienced and pissed off that they’re loved and cared for and how dare they be affectionate toward each other?? It’s all so terribly charming. It’s a classic cat seb dynamic and I’ll eat it up every time !
Despite being a heist novel, it’s rather tender. It honestly moves a bit slowly but the relationship is the real highlight. Plus, you should know by now that we’re here for vibes, not plot. I mean, Cat’s even said it herself.
“I’d be delighted to turn traitor to my class,” Percy said easily. “Honestly, I’ve been wondering when you’d ask.”
“If it’s because of”—Kit gestured between their bodies, as if reluctant to say what they were to one another—“ then you’ll only wind up resenting me.” “It’s not,” Percy said. “The fact is that you’ve ruined me for a life of leisure, Kit Webb. How can I go back to all that when the most principled man I know thinks it’s evil.” Kit stared at him. “You’ve gone daft.” “I love you.” “Like I said.”
