Janica is on her way home from work when she talks a young man out of ending his life. In the course of checking in on him to see how he's doing, she gets to know his brother Thomas and they begin dating. As time goes on, Janica faces some personal challenges that affect her relationship with Thomas. This book is a tear-jerker but also hopeful and beautiful in the way it describes love, heartbreak, friendship, despair, and moving on. Not my usual fare, but so glad I read it.
