Hands down, the best novel I have read all year and to then find out it was a debut release of the author, Sarah Hogle, holy shit! She needs to come out with another release and ASAP! Her work is an instant re-read and I simply can’t get enough.

Now why should you read this? Well… “You Deserve Each Other” was an instant page turner and this hilarious lovers-to-enemies-to-lovers trope was everything I hoped for and more. I loved the dynamic between Nick and Naomi, and their sabotaging schemes to stop the wedding from happening. It had loud out moments, monster-in-laws, and tender moments you wouldn’t expect. What I like the most about this debut novel was the already established relationship between the characters. If you haven’t read the blurb, they’re engaged and during the course of their relationship misunderstandings and resentment pushed them apart. The fake personas they created of themselves are dropped and as the wedding wars rages on, they learn to re-love again and to grow as a couple.

Honestly, If I could give this more than 5 stars I would. This was absolutely perfect and I seriously can’t wait to see what else this author has in store for us in the future.
