Because this book made me Grinchy in all the wrong ways with cliche after cliche after cliche. 

It was too much! 

You know what else was too much for me to handle? 

Noel's tireless need to let the reader and Nick know about all her baggage and the fact that she is fucked up - words that come straight up out of her mouth entirely too many times. 

That coupled with her stubborn antics of denial and avoidance? Well, it all became such an issue for me that I had to abandon ship. 

So yeah, needless to say, not a fan, but I won't begrudge you picking this one up because the cover is cute, and it's Christmas themed so no one can blame you. 

Kudos if you actually get through to the end because you are a far better trooper than I'll ever be.
