SPOILERS BELOW!!!!
A beautiful finish to a quartet that definitely takes you on an adventure.
I’ve laughed, cried, been devastated & angry but it was all worth it. Every character that needed redemption got it & that felt satisfying to say the least.
The loss of Nell really hit me hard, but I totally agreed with the choice for her to be the one to fix what her ancestors did.
My thought is though, she has a sneaking suspicion as the time went on what would be required of her. Why did she drag Addie along? Because she was still deeply grieving the loss of mother & sister; Nell knew she needed to what she was made of & capable of. And to be connected with Clark was honestly the cherry on top, something Nell wasn’t entirely expecting. I could go on & on, but I’ll finish by saying this series was expertly written & I highly recommend!!
