I absolutely loved this book. I think I have read it three times now.
Poppy and Hudson were two of Jay's characters I immediately loved when she introduced them. I couldn't wait to read their stories. I like that their story developed over time and that we got hints of it other books.
Hudson's reactions to learning about Poppy's trauma were so supportive. I loved how he navigated Poppy's physical and mental boundaries. Those aspects of their relationship were given proper attention throughout the book and really stood out to me.
I also love that Poppy stood on her own and didn't move in with Hudson until she knew she could be totally independent. That is a rare trait in a lot of romance novel MC's.
