In Cold Blood by Truman Capote

3.75

I read this for school so it felt like I was forced into reading it. However, I surprisingly enjoyed it. It was intriguing and Capote did a great job at catching the readers' attention. Yes it was going slow at the beginning. But halfway through the book, i couldn't let go of the book. You will go through emotions you necessarily would never feel for criminals. I felt slight empathy for Perry, but I keep reminding myself this was based on a true crime. I think this is one of the reasons why I truly loved Capote's writing. He wrote a non-fiction book in a unique way.
