i think the blurb was a bit misleading as it made it sound like vi was going to be the main character but she was more secondary.
it was a fun book and i enjoyed the premise but i did find it hard to follow the dialogue at times as no names were mentioned. the dialogue did go on A LOT and as good as it was (the characters had great banter!) i thought it was a bit much & it lost me at times.
the game and how it works felt like such a big mystery that the way it came to fruition felt anti climatic & frustrating because i still don’t really understand how it’s played ? and from other reviews it looks like im not alone in this (which is reassuring haha)
also i would not recommend the audiobook for this & im glad i listened to it on spotify. the narrator did death really well and most male voices but i HATED his voice for the female characters. it was so grating and made it really hard to focus on the story.
