The Friend Zone Experiment by Zen Cho

3.0

Renee Goh seems to have it all, except she doesn’t. When her father calls her with a potential offer to take over the family business she jumps at it even though it means warring with her brothers and leaving the comforts of her adopted home. There is a lot of family drama, and I think this is less romcom than the title suggests. It’s far more dark with a slower pacing that makes the backstory of the characters a little frustrating to put together. Overall I enjoyed it.
