Ace of Shades by Amanda Foody
5.0
I honestly didn't think I would love it this much, just because Enne royally pissed me off at the beginning. Like, I loved her, but I hated her at the same time. Fast forward to the end, and I'm in love. I'd marry her. NBD. I loved the way her story played out, and while I didn't expect some things, I definitely should've seen them coming. For some reason when I'm listening to an audiobook, I can't predict things as well as when I'm reading a physical copy. (I listened to the audiobook for about half of it over a couple of weeks while doing housework and such.) I cannot wait for the next book! I have so many theories, and I need to know how it plays out! Also just need more Enne. And Levi. Hot damn I'd marry him too. This kind of book is my favourite, because I love morally ambiguous characters, and I love when characters discover just how morally ambiguous they are. Some of the characters disgusted me (coughSedricTorrencough), but I loved those bastards too. Mostly just loved to hate them, but still.
Did I mention I need the next book?
