This is the 9th book in the Katie Scott series and every one gets better and better. You don’t need to have read all the previous books as this could be read as a standalone. In this instalment Katie and her partner McGaven get stuck in Coldwater Creek assisting on the investigation of the murder of a young teen. Coldwater Creek is a very strange town. There are so many things that don’t add up. There’s someone who definitely doesn’t want Katie and McGaven to find out what really happened. Katie and Gav are very likeable and you want them to find the killers and get justice for those young girls. Katie once again puts herself in danger to uncover the truth. There are some real scary scenes in this book which had me very concerned for Katie and the team. This was another fast paced and tense thriller. It will have you on the edge of your seat race through page after page. I struggled to put this book down and easily read chapter after chapter. Thank you to Bookouture for my copy of this book via Netgalley and for letting me take part in this tour.
