I'm so pleasantly surprised. I liked it a lot better than I initially did. I fell head over heels in love with Aki and Christa's relationship and I applaud the fact that the author promoted safe sex, especially between two women. I also liked Aki and Lori's friendship, Jake(a sweetheart!), Lori's aunt, Drew, and Aki's dad. There were other things going on like debates and Drew's future but too be frank I didn't care for that subplot. Overall, I recommend this book to anyone looking for a sweet romance, LGBT rep, sapphic girls, sapphic girls of color (specifically sapphic black girls), and a happy ending.
