The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath
5.0
"How did I know that someday―at college, in Europe, somewhere, anywhere―the bell jar, with its stifling distortions, wouldn't descend again?”
Phenomenal and brilliant. The Bell Jar is a book that vividly captures the complicated, darkest, and weakest facets of emotions and life itself. Although, admittedly, there are parts that are questionable and problematic, this book still conveyed truths that are hard to swallow and are still evident even in today's society.
