If you’re looking for a spicy contemporary romance to add to your spring or summer TBR, look no further. Someone Else's Ocean is a must-read.
This book solidified Kate Stewart as an automatic-read author for me. I’ve read her Ravenhood series, Bittersweet Melody duet, and holiday book and I can confidently say that I love her casual but immersive writing style, the way she writes her characters, and her *chefs kiss* spice scenes. They do NOT disappoint.
I truly felt transported to the island of St. Thomas in Someone Else’s Ocean and fell in love with the FMC and MMC. The witty banter and dynamic between these two characters was addictive—I couldn't put this book down.
Tropes that should convince you to read this book (if I haven't already):
- Age gap
- Grumpy x sunshine
- Childhood crush
- Single dad
- Slow burn (the pay off is WORTH the wait)
This book is available on KU.
