Even though I am a big reader, I have never attended an author signing and very very rarely purchase a book. My resolution is to buy local so when my independent bookstore advertised this signing and the author is from my hometown I attended.

Now for the book it is a cozy mystery so we have amateur sleuths, busybodys, and plehty of suspects. Mr Feng who is the owner of Asia Village, his found dead in his office. Lana becomes involve since she delivered the noodles that caused his death. Secrets abound in this small community and some are related to Mr Feng but not all.

All in all a good start to a series that is very popular
