Orlando by Virginia Woolf

4.0

Incredibly imaginative and full of emotion, with a touch of playfulness, but also exploring recurring themes in her literary work such as gender roles, class, sexuality, the conceptualisation of time, and literature itself. Pure Virginia Woolf, just doing what she wanted with the prose, the story, and the main character, without feeling the need to please the reader or explain things she felt were not important. Love that for her.
