This was cute but really just a run on the mill romance. I had high expectations after really liking the first book in this series, Emma of 83rd Street. Austen’s spoiled, meddling Emma transitions really well to a modern day rich girl on the upper east side. Pride & Prejudice, on the other hand, relies on a miscommunication trope that really needs the Regency era propriety and structure to make it charming.
