In Cold Blood by Truman Capote

5.0

One of those books where it’s historical importance cannot be overlooked. In Cold Blood pioneered true crime as a genre as well as revolutionized nonfiction novels. Whereas the format and structure aren’t dissimilar from what you’d find in any modern true crime story, Capote’s voice and meticulous detail lend to the overall narrative and “readability.”
