The Sweetest Oblivion by Danielle Lori
5.0
This is the first instalment in the Made series and it follows Elena and Nico after Nico is engaged to Elena’s younger sister. This was a fantastic introduction to this world and I loved reading about these two.
My favourite part of this was definitely the chemistry between Nico & Elena. The sexual tension was insanely off the charts and I LOVED the way it was written. It was completely tangible and omg it was impossible to stop reading. I loved the forbidden aspect of their relationship for the first half of their story, and I loved all the stolen moment they had.
Elena was a lovable heroine, and I loved the way she grew into herself from being the ‘sweet Abelli’ and she was such a fun character to read from. Nico was also a great hero and I loved his possessiveness but also how he treated Elena. The perfect mix of a psycho and a gentleman lol!
Another thing I loved was their banter - it was so snarky and funny, and I loved the way Danielle Lori characterised both of them. I also really loved seeing all of their family members and all the interactions between families (hopefully we’ll get a book for Tony...)
Overall, this was an amazing first book in a series, and I can’t wait to read more of Danielle Lori’s books!
