Supernova by Marissa Meyer

5.0

UPDATE: This book was way better the second time. I recognize, now, that everything that happened—even the events that absolutely enraged or saddened me at the time—was a calculated choice by the author. This book, this SERIES, is a chain reaction. Everything happens for a reason and I can appreciate that now, knowing how everything turns out in the end. The epilogue was also initially frustrating and left me craving closure, but the second time, the end just impressed me with its boldness and felt realistic and unique.

Amazing conclusion to one of my favorite trilogies of all time!❤️

Renegades: “We were all villains in the beginning.”

Supernova: “We were all heroes in the end.”

Wow, this trilogy! I’m a little sad that it’s over and that I will never read anything new of Nova and Adrian again, but I am beyond satisfied. It is so unique in its genre and the end was absolutely perfect. This book is probably my least favorite in the series, but it is still such a great read. I settled on a 4 star rating because certain aspects of the middle section felt muddy and unnecessary, and the epilogue was too open-ended for my liking.
