For a flighty summer read, this book is pretty good. A new take on the diary style books telling the story from 1st person perspective. A cute story which kept me entertained. The format stretches the imagination a bit as the emails are very much written like a novel using quotation marks and he said then I said writing, which few people use in emails. I just kept reminding myself Coco is a novelist by trade, so that kind of explains the choice. Overall, the plot was well written, but I'm not convinced I need to read the second book. There is a sample in the ebook format, so I might read that to see if I just have to find out what happens next.
