The love shared between Aslan and Neri was truly extraordinary, and I couldn't help but worry about the heart-wrenching challenges they still had to face. Neri's present-day chapters, where she recounts her story, heightened my anxiety with each passing moment. The unpredictability of Cor Amare kept me on the edge of my seat throughout.

Pepper expertly infused elements of dark romance into the narrative, delivering unexpected twists that kept me hooked. The exploration of Aslan and Neri's unique connection was handled exceptionally well. Their loyalty, honesty, and unyielding trust in one another felt truly otherworldly. Their love story is one that is rarely encountered in my reading adventures, and the lengths they would go to protect each other were profoundly powerful. The continuation of these themes in Cor Amare only strengthened the emotional bond I felt with the characters.

Be prepared to experience heartbreak, shed tears, fall in love with the characters all over again, and embark on an emotional roller coaster.
