This book is quite good and is what happens when queer and trans punks collide with a magical forest demon god creature and his undead animal hordes. Throw ACAB into that and it's a lean, mean piece of speculative fic. If anything, it was maybe pared down a little too much but I'm not complaining.

I haven't read something quite like this. The closest would be Caitlin R Kiernan's Silk mixed with Jeff Vandermeer's Annihilation. Looking forward to the sequel!
