When I reached the last page, I didn’t want the story to end! I went on to imagine what a 3rd novel would be like. Set hundreds of years in the future with Lauren’s Earthseed shapers trying to survive the first flights into space. Then maybe a 4th novel set thousands of years after with humanity adapting and evolving physically and culturally to the new planets environments.
I know the story ends with this novel but it fosters ideas, and beliefs for thinking the “impossible”.
