Why are MB books so confusing and hard to understand in the first chapter?  Every time it is so hard to get into the story but usually once you get past the first chapter or two I am hooked.  This one was boring.  They barely spent anytime together for the first half of the book and when they did it was for a very short period and they were fighting.  Then a light switch flipped and it got fun for the last 40% of the book.  I loved seeing Brayshaw again.  That was fun.
