It’s not too shabby for a quick selection from my StoryGraph recommendations. I always love a good character build as another reminder that not everything is as it seems on the surface. It is quite a sinister revenge scheme, executed by a heartbroken woman (women in male-dominated fields). I don’t know how seemingly vicious the children presented in this story were. Low-key makes me extra terrified of middle schoolers.
