I started out really enjoying this book, I enjoyed the writing and the concept and the voice is humorous. I did grow tired of the consistency of the main character's head space. As she observes a few new things and different people/places are introduced to the reader such as the therapist (one of my favorite parts), the depressing outlook dragged. Which honestly might be the point, but it does become repetitive. Also there is something less interesting about someone who has family funding to do nothing for a whole year, I felt like that took a dimension out of it and made this extreme experience even less relatable. Still overall happy to have read it, just maybe the pace was a little slow for me.
