What My Mother and I Don't Talk about: Fifteen Writers Break the Silence by Michele Filgate

5.0

Relationships are complex, and relationships with mothers are no less so. This collection of essays is marvelous — diverse, honest, thoughtful, relatable, and sometimes heavy. It made me both bark with wry laughter and cry. The personal essay is beautifully rendered on every page. I absolutely cherish this book.
