Could've been a solid 3 but I've decided to start docking a full star for unnecessary use of the second person. For goodness sake, stop labeling books as thrillers then telling (not showing) a full third of the story.
Edited to add: Also, good grief at all these reviews that say they figured out the twist "early"/"midway through the book." The plot twist is literally in the book summary here, on Amazon, and (yep, just confirmed) on the back of the actual book. Ugh this has all been so frustrating. Can someone recommend a "modern-day Agatha Christie" who actually knows how to write a surprising twist?
