How to Be a Woman by Caitlin Moran

5.0

I flew through this like an arrow!
Caitlin Moran talks about growing up and figuring out how to be a woman, discovering feminism on her way to adulthood and coping with this that are recognizable for a lot of women.
It's the first book I read on feminism and I think it was a great way to start; it doesn't take it too seriously but talks about it in a light-hearted voice, making hilarious jokes and analogies on the way.
I can also recommend this book for men. This book shows why feminism is all about equality, not about 'women first' or something like that. While the recognizability of situations may be less for men, it is a great way to put yourself in a woman's shoes and learn about feminism in a light way before dismissing it right away..

REALLY REALLY RECOMMEND IT!
