This series was so good. I was shocked at this one though, because I wasn’t expecting book 2 to be about the mother falling for the death fairy’s king. I liked all of it, beginning to end, it was a solid plot with good characters that I liked. I love how some of book 1 leaked into this book by showing how Isay responded to her mother’s disappearance by going after her which made me think she was even more brave than I thought in book 1 and Karmuth was fun to see when his emotions weren’t heightened by Siya, just a tiny glimpse of more about the characters I already fell in love with. The way they made smut when they couldn’t touch was creative lol. I really liked it, 5 out of 5 stars.
