I love Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, so when my uncle lent me this copy and I realised it was one of Lewis Carroll’s early manuscripts of the story, I was super excited to go on the journey again. I loved every second - obviously it’s very short and barebones compared to the finished story, but being Alice, it’s fast pace and absurd characters we meet along the way is still endlessly enjoyable (and smile-inducing!) even in this earlier format.
