The Bastard and the Heir by Eden Finley and Saxon James is a beautiful story. Two men from totally different worlds, both entangled in the same family drama and a billion dollar conglomerate, are forced together. Constantly at odds in the beginning, Darcy and Wren slowly become friends, then more, and eventually wind up with an enormous dilemma.
This book has all the emotional entanglement and simmering angst that I absolutely love, not to mention beautiful romance and several quite steamy encounters.
I was really moved by the journey the characters go through; not just the MCs but several supporting characters as well. I thoroughly appreciated their intertwined lives and highly recommend the book.
