Little Women by Louisa May Alcott

5.0

I start reading the book because I wanted to see the movie that appeared last year. But I wished to read the book before so i can imagine the characters and the surroundings.
I was not disappointing. It as a splendid book about personal development and growth.
The book mainly focused on Jo, and I found myself in her. I loved her character tho I was thinking of another end for her.. a couple more actually but the ending was beautiful.
I was laughing, crying, angry and confused while reading the book.
I won't give any spoilers. tho I would like to talk with someone about the story.

I had a very big surprise with the words "gay" and "queer" used in the book. As English is not my mother tongue, i had to search for what other meaning than the one I know was presently surprise. I would like to use them in a daily basis but as not many people know their old meaning, frankly I cannot.
