I really liked this book. I loved reading about the people the author met and how he dealt with the many challenges he faced. I was about halfway through when I realized he was traveling in 2019 and wondered how the pandemic would affect him and his plans. My only complaint is the book ends very abruptly and I wanted to know more about what he did after he returned home to Scotland. (Obviously, he wrote a book!)
