I can't even begin to describe the way this book made me feel. There is just so much going on and so much to be felt. Amalia, Nyall and Ryu find themselves in the Ulster Wald with Virgyl and the Dyre Wolf pack. Dyana, Mirielle and Vesimyr are on an island they thought didn't exist, and we learn even more about Iryena and the Archmage as they try and torture Amalia's location out of Os. The relief that everyone is somehow still alive will be stomped on though, multiple times. 

I absolutely love Ryu. She is amazing, and I love how she brings people together. Watching Amalia and Nyall figure out their crap and be pushed by both Virgyl and Ryu was so, so great. Dyana and Mirielle both find their own separate ways, and all of the pieces of this puzzle are crashing together. 

So. Many. Surprisies!!! So much is revealed and I could not believe the ending! I cannot wait for the next book!
