i so wanted to love this but it just didn’t hit the mark for me and was kind of hard to get through. i didn’t like any of the characters, i found our mc to be boring and unnecessarily rude (i get that’s kind of the point against her rivals but :/ ). along with all the other characters i felt similarly, they all just hated eachother and i found that quite boring to read. however the world was beautiful and interesting, the magical beings were so whimsical and sometimes creepy and i did love that darker atmosphere around the folklore creatures and the world.
