Long review warning:
It took me 4 years to finish the LOTR trilogy and this was my absolute favorite book out of all of them. I wasn't a huge fan of the Fellowship or the two towers, but I pushed through them and I'm so glad I did. I absolutely adored every page of Return of the King, especially the ending which I felt was so well done. I have a tendency to hate how books end, but this one really was just brilliant. I would gladly do a book report on this book and also on the character of Eowyn. Eowyn is such a fantastic character and I could go on and on about her but I don't think this is the time or the place. I would definitely recommend this, even though I couldn't stand the first two books. The Return of the King really sold it to me! <3
