This has to be my FAVORITE volume yet!! While I love the Sports Festival arc, Stain/Hero Killer arc is SO INTENSE!
From Iida’s desire for revenge to Gran Torino’s hilarious first appearance and finally to the Stain vs UA students fight, there is so much going on and I love it all!
Stain is definitely the highlight of the volume for me. He has such a deep philosophy, he’s got a quirk that is set up in an interesting way, and he’s so delightfully creepy! The fact that he actually makes good points about humanity makes him feel more human…which is cool because it becomes conflicting to like him and hate him as a villain.
Other moments I enjoyed from Vol. 6 were the hero name choices (Kirishima’s my favorite - ahhh!), the development of Midoriya’s quirk (the anime did it justice too!), and just the whole fight between Stain and the UA students!
Because of how it ended, now I am “forced” to buy the next volume!
